Please do not add things that make the game easier for jugglers, but are no benefit for people who play the game with a single path as intended.

One idea from another defense game (Desktop Tower Defense) is "boost towers" that do nothing by themselves, but add multiplier to whatever they are touching as you upgrade them.

There should also be a smoother transition between levels. I usually have a decent maze set up by around level 140 (no air units) and have about 50-60k in points. None of the tanks are getting anywhere near the end of the maze. Then the boss comes through fully upgraded pulse towers with hardly a scratch and gets my base.

To that end it would be nice if you could select a tank and know how many hit points it has left. Otherwise when they get toughter it gets harder to see if you are doing any damage since the bar doesn't move much.

I only play on Facebook. A couple of my younger boys play here. I think my ideas will apply to either version.

  • Loved the idea of towers somehow gaining experience. I'd also like to see cannon upgrades improve reload time.
  • Also love the idea of being able to control what the tower targets (first, last, strong, weak)
  • Also REALLY love the idea of being able to fix a turret to fire at a particular place, such as designated fires by cannon, or fixing a flamethrower to shoot only in one direction.
  • The power-up towers are a nice idea. An observation tower or point to tell a cannon tower when to fire. Power stations to amp up pulse towers.
  • A cash bonus idea: if I send a wave early, give me X$ for each second early or something. Maybe $100 per second I send the wave early. That would be particularly helpful on later waves when the player is typically cash-starved. For a boss, that would equate to about $1400 if you're really quick on the SEND button. For a normal wave, you might get $450 or so.
  • Queued construction of some sort. Maybe we can place a tower, hit BUY three times, and all income up to that amount goes to that tower so it upgrades "automatically"

I'd also like to see missile speeds increase as the batteries get upgraded, along with better damage upgrades.

I would like to see another type of weapon added - a drone unit. something that has a base it needs to return to weaponize and refuel, but that can be assigned to follow an enemy item till that enemy is killed or the drone is reassigned. 4 missles per flight, click on the base to activate and assign, it runs unmanned looking for "most advanced" threat when not assigned. maybe it could circle it's targets a couple squares out and lob missles in. gets upgraded by clicking on the base as well.

it would also be nice if you could move a defense position after it's been placed.

it would also be nice if the large $1000 cannons tracked a little ahead - they shoot based on current position, but then the enemy is gone by the time the slow moving shell reaches that spot. maybe just 1 block ahead would be better based on enemy current direction. in the real world, slower ammunition is compensated with predictive targeting.

it would also be nice if there were a "tactic" button - one that globally dictates how enemies are selected. toggle on for "most advanced threat" and toggle off for "closest threat to me" mode. In the real world, you might change tactics based on the ememies progress.
